Xtranormal transforms type and text into speech. Students can demonstrate their mastery of key concepts and skills by scripting or writing out monologues or dialogues between characters. Xtranormal uses animated characters that students choose to achieve this purpose.
Xtranormal can be used in all subject areas and in all grade levels.
Students can use this technology as an educational tool to write about what they know, use recently developed skills, as well as, using higher order thinking skills through the creation of movies.
I know of teachers who have used Xtranormal ( in conjunction with a computer & a projector) as a creative way to present their class agendas, deliver of instructions for activities, and also to present their lessons to their students. Let's just say they definitely got their students' attention!
